THE CANS FESTIVAL
The “almighty” Banksy did it again, but this time, with a little help of his friends. The British artist organized The Cans Festival, a celebration of stencil art that brought together artists like Bsas Stencil, Prism, Roadsworth, Blek, Broken Crow, Sten, Sadhu, Lex, Faile, Logan Hicks and many more. As usual, the location was revealed few hours before the opening, and London, again, qeued for hours to experience an explosion of street related art, art that claims for the return of the street to its owners: the people. Thousands of visitors interacted with the works, and also contributed to the exhibition with more stencils.
To learn more, go to the festival´s website, and watch the wrap-up video…
