AMI’ S SECRET HOT SPOTS.
Die französische Fotografin Ami Sioux hat ein bezauberndes Buch herausgebracht: REYKJAVIK 64°08N 21°54W ist das erste einer fünfteiligen Serie (Reykjavik, Berlin, Paris, London, New York) und so etwas wie ein persönlicher City-Guide. Ami fragte 50 Menschen aus Reykjavik, ihr per Hand eine Wegbeschreibung aufzumalen, die sie zu einem Ort führt, der für die jeweilige Person wichtig oder besonders ist. Daraufhin machte sie sich mit dem Plan auf den Weg, um die Location zu fotografieren. Das Buch REYKJAVIK 64°08N 21°54W stellt auf liebevolle Weise die Zeichnungen den Fotos gegenüber und wird so zu einer ganz persönlichen Interpretation von denen, die in Reykjavik leben und arbeiten. The French photographer Ami Sioux released a wonderful book: REYKJAVIK 64°08N 21°54W is the first in a five-part series (Reykjavik, Berlin, Paris, London, New York) and something like a personal city guide. Ami asked 50 people from Reykjavik to draw a map for her to get to a place that is important or special for the particular person. Then she hits the road to take a picture of the location. The book REYKJAVIK 64°08N 21°54W shows the drawings facing the photos in a loving way and becomes a really personal interpretation by those who live and work in Reykjavik. Just lovely!
